Meet Marc

Marc has been with Citizen Advocates since 1991 when he started as a Community Residence Aide, working his way up the ranks in a variety of direct care positions. Today, he is the Associate Director of Community Living, which provides over 200 safe, stable residential opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and for others who are at risk of homelessness. In addition, he also has responsibility for the Family Support Services program.

Marc feels a deep connection to his work at Citizen Advocates. “Leaving here for me would be like leaving my family and my home,” he explains. “I want to continue to support the individuals that I have over the past 30 years and get to know a few more. I want to continue to support and hopefully mentor our next generation of staff here.” When he’s not working, you can catch Marc enjoying photography, kayaking, music or you will see him at music festivals throughout the country.
