At Citizen Advocates, we provide care for people in need of mental health treatment, addiction recovery or intellectual and developmental disabilities services. We achieve this through a person-centered approach that supports each individual’s choices while focusing on a person’s whole health, not just the symptoms that brought them to us.

Full-time, part-time and per diem opportunities are available.

WE’RE OFFERING RNs:

$7,500 sign-on bonus for full-time positions
$10 shift differential for overnights (7 p.m. – 7 a.m.)
$5,000 annual incentive for all full-time nurses working in a behavioral health urgent care center
An additional $5,000 geographic pay incentive for all full-time nurses working at our Watertown clinic (to be reviewed annually)
$34-45 per hour as a starting wage
Four to six weeks of paid on job training / mentoring
A great benefits package

$2,500 sign-on bonus for full-time LPN positions
$2 shift differential for overnights (7 p.m. – 7 a.m.)
$2,500 annual incentive for all full-time nurses working in a behavioral health urgent care center
$5,000 geographic pay incentive for all full-time nurses working at our Watertown clinic (to be reviewed annually)
$23.50-29.45 per hour as a starting wage

Meet Kirsti

Registered nurse Kirsti Davis manages the Medication Assisted Treatment program at Citizen Advocates’ Ogdensburg Behavioral Health Urgent Care Center. Medication Assisted Treatment, or MAT, combines medication and counseling to provide a holistic addiction treatment approach. “I enjoy MAT because it helps me with my own well-being,” Kirsti explains. “It lets me use my knowledge and experience to help folks.”

Kirsti feels a strong sense of purpose working for Citizen Advocates. “I became a nurse to make a difference in people’s lives. That’s what we do here every day,” she says. “The good things, the positive things, they’re everywhere.”

When Kirsti’s not working, she enjoys going on trips, crafting and writing fiction.
