Specialties and areas of focus
- Person-Centered Therapy
- Trauma-informed interventions
- School-age children
I joined Citizen advocates as the SOC (System of Care) school-based therapist for the Tupper Lake Middle/High School and LP Quinn Elementary schools, and I am also offering in-person services at North Country Community College. I currently have my limited permit and I am working towards acquiring my clinical hours in order to apply for my New York State License.
My interests include working with school-age children, and I also enjoy working with individuals that are navigating LGBTQIA issues. I joined the field in order to support youth in learning and honing skills that they can utilize for a lifetime. To assist with this process, I often utilize an integrated approach with interventions stemming from Person-Centered Therapy, and Trauma-Informed interventions to address concerns related to anxiety, depression, grief and social skills.
