FacebookTwitterLinkedInEmail

The Crimson Phoenix Club recently donated 10 hand-made fleece blankets and crocheted throws to the Ruth House in Malone.

Members of the club make the blankets on a regular basis, and in the past have donated them to Alice Hyde Medical Center and the Alice Center.

The Ruth House provides transitional housing and supports to women and children confronting domestic violence, addiction or mental health issues.

Presenting the donation were Melissa Rundall, center, Community Support Services Supervisor for Citizen Advocates, to Ren Taylor, second from left, Homeless Specialist for Ruth House, along with Danielle Pisani, club member, Melinda Jones, club manager, and Sharon Welch, club member.
